4827 6th Avenue, Tacoma WA 98406
3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom
1,735 Sq Feet, 6,000 Sq Foot Lot
Offered For: $415,000
Immaculate modern craftsman, completely remodeled in 2017, with original charm intact! This home has so many updates to boast of, including a new roof (complete tear off job), electrical and plumbing work, and retrofitting in the crawlspace. This home didn’t just get new windows, paint, and remodeled bathroom+kitchen- it got a whole makeover! The siding is new, hardieplank, and the sellers installed a privacy fence when they bought it.
Location is key! Close to all of the fun found on 6th Avenue , but located on the calmer block, lined with trees. Between being situated on the portion of 6th Avenue with less hustle and bustle, the home being planted on a hill above the street, and the privacy fence, you don’t feel like you’re on a busy street! Plus, you have the entertainment spaces in the back yard, and the garage+ gravel parking area, with plenty of room for you and guests to park.
Right when you enter the home you are greeted by 9 foot high ceilings, and a bright, modern, open floor plan!
The fireplace was beautifully rehabbed, and a new gas insert installed. The sellers recently had it inspected, and serviced; it is in full working order for this winter.
Through the living room, you enter the dining room space, bonus room, and kitchen. These are all distinct spaces, but with an open flow. The seller expressed how much she appreciates the flexibility of the spaces, in addition to the brightness and openness. It just feels so clean, and bright!
The bonus room is currently being used as a craft-room/ art space, but could be used as a home office, playroom, library, etc. The ample natural light in this space, in combination with the view of the trees lining the street outside, is great for creative inspiration, and mental clarity.
The kitchen is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Modern, spacious, and bright, with newer stainless steel appliances. Cute bar space to sip coffee at, chat with the chef, or enjoy a casual breakfast.
This is the first bedroom, which is located on the first floor. Sellers currently use this as their guest room, and remarked that their friends always comment on how great they sleep in this room. Peaceful, comfortable, and quiet.
The bathroom is located on the main floor, and has plenty of storage space!
Two of the bedrooms are located upstairs. There is a bonus space, to the left of the stairs. The sellers currently have it set up as a quiet reading space.
There is one bedroom facing the front of the house, and one facing the back. This is the room that faces the front.
The outdoor space like the indoor space, is versatile, functional, and sleek! The sellers created multiple spaces for entertaining, and relaxing.
Darling artwork that the sellers secured to the boards are included in the sale of the home.
Garden space out back!
There is a lounge space out the back door, on the deck. Sellers recently had it re-planked, and painted.
Large, new, heated 3 car garage! Tons of space for cars, motorcycles, tools, gear, and storage. You could set up a fitness center, or a workshop. Lots of parking available out-front on the street, in addition to garage+gravel parking space off of alley.

Live in the North Slope District, affordably! This condo is in a fantastic location. You’re a couple of minutes from the Stadium District, and the Three Bridges District, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood; the best of both worlds!
Three Bridges District is located down a few streets, on N I Street, and includes a local coffee shop, pizza place, and Dave’s Meat and Produce. Stadium District has many things to offer, including the lovely Wright Park, Stadium Thriftway for your groceries, and the newest addition to the Stadium Neighborhood, Anthem Coffee. If you want to go out for fancy drinks in the Stadium District, check out Indo Asian Street Eatery. Looking for a burger and shake?… check out Shake Shake Shake!
Drive 5 minutes in the other direction to go to the lively 6th Avenue strip with coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Red Hot and Ice Cream Social are a couple of my favorite gems on 6th Avenue. Who doesn’t like gourmet hot dogs (veggie dog for me, please!), craft beer, and ice cream made with local ingredients? When it comes to coffee, you will find a few local favorites on this strip, including Valhalla Coffee, and Bluebeard.
What I love about this condo, is the functional layout. As someone who prefers smaller homes, I appreciate when the space is laid out in a way that maximizes all of the space.
The openness of the kitchen and living space is one of my favorite parts of this condo. With many condos under one thousand square feet, you typically see smaller galley kitchens, or closed off, small box-type kitchens which I call “cubby kitchens.” This kitchen is open, with plenty of counter and storage space. You don’t feel like you are sacrificing on having a nice, functional kitchen!
First bedroom is located straight through the living room, to the left. Sellers added storage and organizers in the closets for maximum functionality.
The bathroom is located conveniently between the two bedrooms. Cute tile in the bath/shower that extends all the way up the wall.
The second bedroom is on the other side of the bathroom. The light colored bamboo floors, and paint give the condo a clean, cheerful feel.
The sellers really took care in preparing this condo for sale. They told me about how they would watch fireworks from the balcony on the 4th of July, and how it was the first place they had ever purchased.
A few other noteworthy mentions- HOA includes sewer and garbage. There is a communal storage room at the end of the second floor of the building, towards the alley. A new roof was put on in the last few years, new water heater installed last fall, and the interior freshly painted.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to pop me a text at (253) 691-0688.

Many updates to boast of in this centrally located home! Be close to it all, while having peace of mind that the main systems are good to go. There is a new electric panel, roof, heat pump, and water heater. French doors installed off of the kitchen, leading into the oasis of a backyard! New deck, and gravel patio, as well as a large garage out back. Great flow for entertaining. Seller expressed that some of her best memories here were hosting dinner parties on the deck in the summer.
Seller will miss walking to Cheney Stadium to catch a baseball game, and walking to the 6th avenue district, “We loved walking to Valhalla Coffee on 6th and Proctor, and frequented the restaurants of Primo Grill, Asado, and the Red Hot. Fred Meyers is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from groceries.”
The seller is a local artist, who originally picked this house to call home based on the location, “I was commuting to Seattle and wanted easy access to the freeways.” She also mentioned that the layout was ideal, “I liked the kitchen opening right into the dining room and the flat, easy to maintain yard.”
When I asked about some of the memories she has in this home, she mentioned 20 person dinner parties on the deck and patio in the summer, piano playing parties with wine tasting in the front room. She says she will especially miss the deck, garden, and workshop outback, and of course, the AC!
